Thailand Itinerary

Day 1: Departure

Departure on night flights from Tel Aviv to Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok

We will go on a tour during which we will visit the famous and unique temples of Bangkok - the Wat Trimit temple, where there is a golden Buddha statue weighing 5 and a half tons, at the Wat Po temple - the large reclining Buddha temple, as well as at the King's Palace - the palace of the kings of Siam where we will visit the Emerald Buddha temple.

We will continue to visit the Chinatown, we will be impressed by the variety of Chinese shops that offer spices, traditional medicines, sweets and delicacies such as dried shark fins and more.

Later, we will take a klong cruise in the canals of the Chao Phraya River, during which we will even enter the ancient canals of Bangkok, be impressed by the typical lifestyle of the local residents and see the Temple of the Dawn - Wat Arun.

In the evening - we will go for a cruise on the HaTsofaiya river and visit the huge and amazing Icon Siam mall.

Day: 4 Ampawa

We will leave early in the morning and drive to the famous floating market. We will arrive at Damnran Seduak, from where we will sail in the "long tail" boats to the floating stalls of the largest floating market in Thailand. After being impressed by the lively and lively trade that takes place there, we will continue to Ampawa. We will visit the special train market, take a river cruise through the mangrove forest ("Forests of the Sea"), and see the local fishermen in their tiny boats pulling oysters and crabs from the mud. We will watch the long-tailed monkeys swimming in the river and participate in their feeding. Lunch is included. We will continue to visit the Bang Kong temple known as "the temple in the tree", and a workshop for porcelain tools. At the end of the visits we will return to Bangkok.

Day 5: Pattaya

In the morning we will leave for the famous beach town of Pattaya, the capital of the Thai Riviera. We will visit the beautiful botanical park Nong Nosh Park and enjoy traditional Thai folklore and cultural shows including religious ceremonies, martial arts, an elephant show, singing and dancing. We will settle in the hotel.

In the evening - we will go on a walking tour of the famous pedestrian mall and promenade.

Day 7: The Native tribes and the Golden Triangle

This morning we will go to visit the ethnic center of the northern tribes, including the Hmong, Akha and Yahoo tribes. We will be impressed by the way of life and culture of these tribes as well as the long-necked tribe. We will continue our journey to Masai and the area known as the "Golden Triangle", located at the meeting of the borders with Burma and Laos. After lunch we will take a cruise on the Mekong River.

Day 10: Phuket, Phang Nha and "James Bond Island"

We will go on a day trip to Phang Na Bay.

We will first visit a rubber farm and get an impression of the rubber production process. Then we will go on a cruise to the karst area and the mangrove reserve, and we will organize a special cruise for woodpeckers where we will be impressed by the spectacular stalactites.

We will continue with a cruise to Ko Tai Po (the "nail" island), better known as "James Bond Island", where the famous movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed.
